  In 2009 we purchased a large lot [over 1 acre ] and a beautiful house in this wonderful Community. However I find living in this community with this HOA is a very frustrating experience. In my opinion the HOA is acting outside of its power and not handling things properly.
  
  I believe a HOA should perform its duties reasonably and fairly, and may not act in a discriminatory or capricious manner. Unfortunately I submit this is not the case with the Lakes HOA.
  
  In this HOA I find the rules vague and ambiguous. It is also my opinion and I submit that the BOD are improperly interpreting the rules to favor the HOA BOD's self serving needs.
  
  I have always acted reasonably and in good faith. I am also aware that Interpreting governing documents of condos & HOA is tricky sometimes. I also believe That any doubts must be resolved in favor of the free use of the property against the party seeking to enforce the restriction [the HOA]
  
  I would also advise that anyone thinking of purchasing a lot and thinking of building, or purchasing a completed home in this HOA please do you research into the operations of this HOA.
  
  We are at the point that we are thinking of selling just to get away from the BS.
